Beth Shalom Gimnasio Campestre was founded in 1999 by Pastors Carlos Orlando Anaya and Emperatriz de Anaya, as a response to the need for quality Christian education in Bucaramanga and its surroundings. In 2000, the school opened its doors with a Christ-centered approach, initially offering preschool grades. Over the years, elementary grades were incorporated and, in 2008, secondary education began. In 2011, the institution moved to Piedecuesta, consolidating itself as one of the best educational institutions in the region.
As a Christian institution, we conceive values as the behaviors and attitudes of the identity that God gave to human beings when He created them, according to His own identity and image. Our values are those internal treasures that we wish to give as an inheritance and for Beth Shalom are: love, truth, justice, transparency and service.
Considering the above, we believe that it would not be possible to strengthen values in students without Jesus Christ and without an environment of permanent spiritual growth. Love, truth, justice, transparency and service must be the unconditional lenses that guide the daily actions of everyone who is part of our educational community (parents, teachers, students, administrators, directors, outsourced personnel and visitors).
We form in an integral way a new generation of academically excellent children and young people, based on biblical principles, equipped with life, knowledge, skills, abilities, skills and competencies to make them agents of change in society.
Our main purpose is that our students know God the Father personally, to experience His love and that with their testimony of life they express love and gratitude to Him; recognizing Jesus Christ as the Son of God, and personal Savior, thus evidencing in their lives the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
Biblical principles are present in each of the subjects of our curriculum, in teaching practices and daily activities. Therefore, from the Scriptures that natural knowledge is explained, since “all truth is truth from God”.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.
Deuteronomy 6:5
We are aware that for the Kingdom to be extended and for us to see a society according to God’s desires, it is imperative that the new generations be formed according to God’s principles, so that wherever they go, they will carry His presence. For this reason, our main goal is to contribute to the formation of His character, so that Christ may be formed in them.
…until Christ is formed in you.
Galatians 4:19
We work to provide our students with the environment and processes necessary for them to develop the skills they need to be competent leaders and citizens who benefit their communities. Our curricula are based on Christian fundamentals, the Word of God, the quality standards suggested by the Ministry of National Education, international standards and the guidelines and directives that we have developed as an institution. We intend for our students to build solid foundations to be competent in all areas.
Hold fast to instruction and do not neglect it; put it into practice, for it is life for you.
Proverbs 4:13
