Our pedagogical proposal for the secondary section is designed to accompany young people in a crucial stage of their development, where they face academic, personal and spiritual challenges. With a focus on the development of critical and reflective thinking processes, we help students discover their gifts, talents and God’s calling in their lives, giving them a sense of purpose and direction.
We foster autonomy, resilience and assertive decision-making, preparing them to assume responsibilities as citizens of the world with a Kingdom vision. In an environment steeped in worship and the Word, we seek for young people to find their identity in Christ and become leaders of integrity, capable of impacting their generation.
We recognize that, at this stage, young people need solid tools to face a world in constant change. Therefore, we offer a program with a strong emphasis on English, to strengthen the four communicative skills of the foreign language: speaking, listening, reading and writing, plus the components of proper use of grammar and vocabulary expansion, allowing them to communicate with increasing fluency and confidence in global contexts.
In addition, we implemented in the Computer Science and Technology classes, an innovative system of computational thinking via Arukay, who is a strategic ally of our institution, which provides us with pedagogical tools for teaching programming via basic languages with simple blocks that progressively, according to the grades, become more complex.
We understand that young people are looking for answers to deep questions about their identity, purpose and future. For this reason, our proposal not only focuses on academic excellence, but also on spiritual and emotional formation; therefore, we have established a vocational orientation program, which begins under the guidance of the psychology department and pastoral guidance, in which eleventh grade students have the opportunity to learn, first hand, the academic offerings of institutions that offer higher education in the metropolitan area, as well as nationally and even internationally, as we have agreements with Christian universities abroad.
Our goal is to train young people who, in addition to being academically prepared, are agents of change in their community, leaders committed to their faith and with a deep sense of service.
